Our Life Renewed programme, launched in 2012, has been providing free treatment to underprivileged patients across the country.
This corporate giving initiative sponsors medical treatment for those in need, offering access to IHH Healthcare Malaysia's network of professionals and facilities. Since its inception, Life Renewed has enabled over 2,000 patients to receive care for conditions such as congenital heart defects, total knee replacement and cataract surgery, which might otherwise have been beyond their financial reach.
Available at all IHH Healthcare Malaysia hospitals, including Gleneagles, Pantai, Prince Court Medical Centre and Timberland Medical Centre, the programme follows a stringent screening process to ensure only those who meet the eligibility criteria benefit from the initiative.
By doing so, Life Renewed ensures that the funds are directed to those most in need, aligning with IHH’s commitment to sustainable healthcare and community support.
At IHH Healthcare Malaysia, caring for our community goes beyond hospital walls. One of the ways we are making a difference is through our partnership with the Ministry of Health Malaysia to support cancer patients in need.
Cancer is a growing challenge in Malaysia, affecting more and more families each year. Treatment can be complex and costly, which is why, on 14 September 2022, we joined hands with the Ministry of Health to fully sponsor radiotherapy and radiosurgery for 500 cancer patients receiving care at government hospitals.
These patients, identified and referred by the Ministry’s specialists, receive treatment at seven of our hospitals equipped with advanced Gamma Knife and Linear Accelerator (“LINAC”) technology.
We completed the first round of the programme in February 2024 and the second in May 2025.
On 7 July 2025, we renewed our partnership with the Ministry to sponsor treatment for another 500 patients.
Reducing the cancer burden is one of our priorities, and part of IHH’s global sustainability goal to touch five million lives and build healthier communities by next year.
