I began my career 15 years ago as a pastry chef in a five-star hotel and later gained experience in Australia. Now, as a Junior Sous Chef in a hospital, I ensure high-quality food, maintain hygiene, and oversee kitchen operations.

This role allows me to create new menus and apply my hotel catering skills to deliver innovative dishes. I never imagined a hospital could foster culinary creativity, but serving patients delicious and healthy food is my way of expressing care.

I started my career at Gleneagles as Inventory Executive in the Pharmacy department. The plenty of support from the hospital and my colleagues has supported me in achieving my goal as a Dispenser. I hope I can continue to progress along the career ladder.

In addition to the training on relevant practical skills, I was given a practicum opportunity in the hospital to gain more experience in pharmacy while I was pursuing my part-time studies in dispensing last year. I am particularly grateful to the Pharmacy Manager who nominated me to take the course and offered me a lot of support and confidence. Upon successful completion of my studies, I was promoted to Dispenser. Thanks to the guidance from my mentor who has given me a more comprehensive understanding on the operation of the Pharmacy
